Brand Your Facebook Page’s Timeline Cover with Your Face

If you read this blog frequently or even just occasionally, you will notice that I don’t plaster my face all over it. This is because I didn’t get into blogging to have my face all over the internet despite it being a pretty damn cute one. I just wanted my words to be read; my “voice” to be heard!

However, in this day and age, you have to give good face even if you’re aching just to write. A good place to put you best face forward is with your Facebook page. I’m not even going to bother asking if you have one for your blog because I know you do.

Oh, you want to check out mine? Facebook.com/TheCalvinShow. It’s that easy!

It doesn’t have to be some crazy, elaborate, intense timeline cover either. We all have that artsy fartsy friend with some crazy camera, right? Ask them to take a few shots of you maybe outside since the weather is so nice and it’s season-appropriate! After you pick your favorite image, go into Photoshop and factor in your blogs title, logo, what have you. Even better, find somewhere to include the URL’s to your social media platforms like a Tumblr or Twitter handle.

Brand-tastic!

Yesterday, I was talking about aperture with my intern and we decided to play around with it. I wasn’t posing when he lifted the camera and took my photo so naturally I told him to delete it. My face tends to look pretty gnarly in candid shots but it turned out okay! Obviously since I’m talking about it you know I’ve gone and used it for a new Facebook timeline cover. Take a look!
While we all have our own journey’s, one thing that I know is extremely important these days is to do a bit of branding along the way. So, put on your Tuesday’s best (Tuesday is the new Sunday), get a camera and slap up your Facebook page’s timeline cover with some original photography.

It’s totally link time. I shared my Facebook page link and timeline cover with you. Show me yours! Do I need to put on Katy’s “Peacock” to help build your confidence?
