One of my favorite things about music is how unexpected it can be. Sure, you’ve got artists that surprise us with a new sound or a song so stellar that we just can’t get enough of it. But I’m not talking about those unexpected musical moments. I’m talking about when a third party takes an already solid song, remixes the shit out of it and makes it that much better.
I’m not talking about taking the vocals from a track and slapping it on some generic House/Techno beats, either. I’m talking about sucking the life out of it and breathing it onto something totally different and, you guessed it, unexpected.
